What are they? Can you watch TV on weekends? Yes, I can. Can’t... means be not allowed to do... eg. Can you watch TV on weekdays? No, I can’t. So Can... means be allowed to do... allow doing sth 解释 allow 的用法: allow sb to do sth 被动语态: sb be allowed to do sth 2.列出其它的家规,校规,结合几张 PPT,用以下句型进行操练 Students are allowed to .... Teenagers aren’t allowed to ... 设计目的:通过让学生谈论家规校规,复习被动语态的结构“be (not) allowed to do”, 为下一步的情态动词的被动语态作好铺垫。 二. 新知呈现(Presentation) 1.用五张 PPT 逐一呈现本课时的重点单词和短语 smoke Sixteen-year-olds are not allowed to smoke. 穿耳洞,打耳洞 有驾照 1 get ...ears pierced have a driver’s license have part-time jobs 做兼职 choose one’s own clothes 自己选衣服 eg: We shouldn’t be allowed to get our ears pierced. A: Students should be allowed to do homework with friends, because it can be helpful for our friendship. B: C: I disagree. We study at first,but later, we may chat with each other. I agree with B. Maybe we are too young to control ourselves. should (not) be allowed to do... D. ... 设计目的:选择贴近学生生活实际的话题,让学生有表达的欲望,有话可说,使学生快乐有趣 地学习英语。同时很自然地过渡到下一步。 四. 新知学习 (work on 1a, 1c and 1b) 1. 让学生独立完成 1a. 2. Work in pairs to finish 1c. 让学生对 1a 的五个陈述各抒己见,学会正确的表达同意和 不同意。并板书如下 同意 I agree. I can’t agree more.(我完全同意) 2 不同意 I disagree. I don’t think so. I approve (我赞成) You are right. Of course. I think so. 3. Work on 1b, then check answers together. No way.(不行。 表示坚决不同意等。 ) 4. Group work. Divide the class into groups of four or five. Make conversations. 5.
